Opus Italia brings together the vision and broad experience of its two principal directors James Judd and Spencer Harvard-Walls, who combine formal training as Chartered Surveyors with over 20 years experience in the financing, renovation and restoration of period properties for private and commercial use.

Each carefully considered scheme draws on the directors’ own love of Italy, and respect for its traditional architecture, to deliver everything you could possibly want from a contemporary holiday home.

We work with local artisans to ensure that each building’s original character and charm is sensitively preserved. We engage Italian landscape gardeners, to ensure the homes blend seamlessly and beautifully with the surrounding countryside. And we draw on the acclaimed talents of Italian interior design groups such as Caberlon Caroppi, whose elegantly styled and beautifully lit hotel interiors grace the cities of  Milan, Palermo and Rome.
